Could it be spring.......

Two days in the +60's F range does tend to lull one into a false sense of springtime, but that not withstanding, it does give one the imputess to dust off the golf clubs and clean the petanque boules for the advent of better days to come.

Jeff, our Detroit Petanque Club President, has already given the Campus Martius piste a try out and finds it to be in good shape. As the weather warms, look for us down there on Saturdays 1:00PM - 5:00PM and Sundays at the Royal Oak Michigan Petanque Club piste for practice and tourneys, not to mention pastise and nibbles. Check out the BLOG for more information and definitions. If you've never played Petanque, you are in for a treat. I've only been into this 1 season and am hooked for life. Thanks Jeppy.

As the golf courses dry out, the RRGA will begin it's International Competitions 'round about the first week in May. Members should keep an eye on this BLOG for more details.
Your co-commisioners for this year are Chad- Canada and Wayne - US.

The Wings have about 12 games left and drive for 1st in the division against the Preds. Go Wings. The Joe's gonna be rock'n.

April begins the Tigers season, and my buddy Ubiquitous is eager to warm himself up in the lights for the opener. Listen for him squawking up there on the right field line, and catch his game day banter at his BLOG, the Ubiquitous Crow.

Happy Easter to all and get out there and let spring begin!
