Down to the last 18

Well, here it is, the end of February, and winter is still with us.

We live in Michigan, should we expect anything else?

The Wings have 18 games left in the regular season, 12 of which are at home, and are 2 points behind the Preds in the Western Conference. Not a bad place to sit, considering a possible first round against Minnesota, unless Niklas Backstrom continues his mini-win-streak. This old goalie appreciates the new guys and their zeal, but…..I am a homer, so I pray he cools off by the time we sic Datsyuk/Zetterberg on him.

The trade deadline is the 27^th and the rumormill creaketh…….we shall see what we shall see.....

Saint Patty’s Day is just around the corner, so start training for those reps of 12oz. curls.
