Easter Blessings to you all.

April in Michigan has got to be one of my favorite times of the year.

The weather is warming, the buds are beginning to turn into leaves, the grass is greening up, the Bar-B is out of the garage and onto the patio where it belongs, the snow blower is put away and “summerized” and……

IT’S PLAY-OFF TIME !!!!!!!!!!!

How can one town and state be so blessed; The Spartans are the NCAA Hockey Champs, The Redwings have beaten Cal-gary and are moving into round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs against San Joser, the Pistons are one game up on the Magic, The Plymouth Whalers lead the London Knights 2 games to zip for the OHL Western Conf. Championship, the Griffins and the Manitoba Moose are 1 game a piece for the Calder Cup north division semi-finals, the Tigers are playing some great ball down at the COPA, and the Detroit Petanque Club/Michigan Petanque Club had a great weekend for boule.

If there was a downside to this past weekend, the Detroit Ignition lost to the Philly KIXX for the Major Indoor Soccer League Championship Final. Yeah, oh well.

With all the sports, and the golf courses starting to look terrific, it’s gonna be a great spring, summer and fall.

Get out there and participate, watch, and enjoy 2007. I know I will.
