THE FROZEN FOUR

Tonight starts the SPARTANS fight for the NCAA championship and it ought to be a doozey, eh.
Michigan State and Maine are relative long shots, ranked 10th and 14th respectively, before the tournament, but with Goalie Jeff Lerg, the Midwest Regional MVP in the nets, the GEEN & WHITE have a better shot than most. Coulpled with the Spartan's pair of NHL second-round picks, Justin Abdelkader (Red Wings) and Mike Ratchuk (Flyers), fthe Gumper anticipates an excellant game, and a shot at the championship on Saturday.

"Are we an underdog?" coach Rick Comley said, "I don't know. But I don't think Maine is looking forward to playing us."

Let's make sure it stays that way.

GO GREEN, GO WHITE
