Wilted Roses

Well, by now all you sports bloggers have had your way with the Wolverines and Coach Carr, disecting the game, the strats, the ground game -vs- the air game, and comparing their cheerleaders to ours. Sad, but true, USC won on all accounts.
It will do little good to postulate on the shoulda, coulda, woulda's so, suffice to say, congrats to USC for the win and cudos to UM for the first half. It appears that gone are the days of the 4th quater team.
Tonight we retire No. 19. Thanks Stevie Y. for a brilliant career and the continued efforts on the Wings behalf. We need to find a taller building in Detroit to paint your likeness on.
To all my Petanque playing buddies, pray for an early spring.
